Finally getting some time to play a little catch up from the last few weeks! From begin sick, and preparing for some Halloween happenings, to getting the apartment ready for some family to visit I found a week to play some catch up! And let me tell you... I have a lot to do!
The first on my list is a new favorite to my skin care routine! I have never used pure argan oil before, so when Argania 1640 offered the chance to try out their product, I couldn't wait!
Argania 1640 100% Pure Moroccan Argan Oil
Chemical Free, Cruelty Free & 100% Organic
Hand Pressed by Independent Women’s Co-ops in Morocco
They offer the oil in 3 different sizes, all of which include the handy little dropper!
While this is a pure oil, a little goes a long way. So these bottles will last a while!
How it was packaged inside the box! I am such a sucker for packaging and feel like it makes a big impression of what I am in for!
Argania 1640 has a section on their site, listing 10 Ways to use Argan Oil. How did I use it?
I used it on my hair - I would rub a few drops in my hands and run it through my hair after the shower. I have also done the same to rub it into the ends after styling, and for a little extra shine. It doesn't leave an oily residue, and absorbs nicely. It left my hair shiny and felt smooth.
I also included it with my skincare routine. I would mix a few drops with my body lotion in my hands and used it as normal. This made a phenomenal addition to my daily lotion. It is unscented and is absorbed quickly, so you aren't left with a greasy or oily residue. I have very very dry skin and it really made a difference. I can actually make it an entire workday without starting to get that "ashy" look to my skin. It is also wonderful on your cuticles.
I also will use a drop or two on my face when I have a late start morning. Because it absorbs quickly it doesn't leave my skin looking oily.
Living in Arizona, you learn to deal with the dry climate but you cant seem to beat it, especially in the winter! I am very happy to have discovered this little gem, and I am confident I can beat the dryness this year!
Have you tried Pure Argan Oil? What were your thoughts?
