Stress had gotten the best of me this week and I was feeling pretty worn out so we kept yesterday simple and I repainted my nails at my desk, while watching Game of Thrones on HBOgo on my computer. Took me almost an hour to decide what I wanted to do with them - but I think I was busy watching more than deciding on a color! Heres what I decided on! The awesome Steve at LacquerMan gave me this suggestion and I just love it! Please swing by his blog and FB, add him and tell him I sent you!
ManGlaze Lesbihonest with Cleat top coat polka-dots! I used Sally Hansen Double Duty Base & Top Coat (no special attachment to this - its the only bottle I had of clear coat in the apartment that wasnt a fast-dry)
What do you think?! I love the idea of Mattes with partial shine. I have done french manis like that - but I am totally digging the dots!

Valentine's Mani No.1
Good morning ladies! Just as promised I am bringing to you the first of my Valentines Manis. I plan on at least one more, maybe two more. So here we go!
This one was very basic and simple. RJ is taking me to The Melting Pot for dinner tonight. It is an amazing fondue restaurant that offers an amazing package for VDay. Since the top I am wearing is a bit busy, I decided to keep this one simple, but to the point. I used ManGlaze Lesbihonest along with Sally Hansen's Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips with the X's and Heart design. RJ picked the pattern out - nice choice babe!
I honestly think that these strips have been out for ever. I remember using them when I was a kid all the time. They are extremely easy to use and last up to the ten days as labeled on the box. I always change my mani so quickly I don't usually see that 10th day, but the do hold up extremely well. I have never tried any other line of strips for comparison, but these are in the stores around be, they're inexpensive, and they are always in fun colors and designs!
This shade of Manglaze is just awesome! I am really pleased with their polish, and definitely plan on picking a couple others up! This one was another great one-coat formula that went on nicely with no flooding. It was an awesome sparkle to it as well. Tomorrow night I will add a top coat to is and post the photos so you can see it that way as well, but this stays as is until dinner tonight :) Steve over at Lacquer Man made an awesome suggestion that I will be trying out as well with this color!

Though this Mani is pretty simple and basic, I hope you enjoyed it! Stay tuned later today when I review Juleps TopCoat For Hair that I received in my Julep Valentine's Day Mystery Box!

Double Nail Mail!
I got to come home to these tonight!
My first ManGlaze order! I picked up Leabihonest and Cabron. I was way impressed with their packagaing! There were 4 biz cards, a logo guitar pick and a sticker - which went straight onto the lids of on of my polish bins!
The Goodies!
Cabron
Lesbihonest
My Revlon Whimsical also arrived and I was expecting a couple more days for that to arrive. Its always such a treat when things arrive early!
I cant wait to swatch these 3! Now to chose what first!! Now until then, as I mentioned in my last post, I have more swatches to share!
First is Revlon Starry Pink. I really like this color. Its a nice light pink with silver small glitter and larger octagon shaped glitter. The formula is a bit thin, but I'm sure its so that glitter can sparkle through. I used OPI Alpine Snow as a base and used one coat of the Starry Pink. I think next time I will use one of my lighter pinks instead.
Next is Julep Megan.
This was my first experience with Juleps lacquer. This came from my first Maven box, along with a Fast Dry Top Coat which I have also added. I was pleased with the outcome. This was a very pretty color and a nice sheen to it.This is with one coat of Megan with no top coat.
In natural sunlight
Under a Natural White light.
With the top coat added.
The other two colors that were in my Maven box, I'm not sure if a am super fond of them. I plan on swatching them soon though to make a final decision. We shall see!
Last is Nicole by OPI Love Your Life. This one I was very disappointed with. The formula seemed thick. While the small glitter was sparse, it wasnt bad considering that you will also have the large hearts. That is only if you can get them out of the bottle! I had to dig and fish out every heart. I got one out for each nail, but it was a but absurd. They didnt want to pick up with the brush and come out. Here is one coat on top of Butter Londons Queen Vic, one of my favorites in my collection! Be prepared to see it a lot!)
That's all I have to today ladies! Time for dinner with the fiance and bed! Good night!!
