I was looking for something to do last night, so what better than to change up the mani, right? I figured i would try out one of my new Julep's that I received in my St Paddy's Day Mystery Box. So here we go!
Julep Sophia
This is a fun spring-y bright green full of blue-green iridescent glitter....that glows in the dark!
I used 3 coats with some bright pink nail tape on the tips followed by top coat.
My only complaint about this one is the formula. It definitively has the strange separation of some other Glow-in-the-dark Lacquers I have used in the past. Its nothing noticeable, really - I'm about 90% sure that its mostely just me that really notices it. It seems to separate during use some - I closed and shook the bottle 2 while applying, and if I look closely at a nail it has a slight cloudy look to it. I did not use a base color - and I am sure that if I were to have used one - I never would have noticed.
I do love the shade of green, though, and the sparkle makes is just awesome for spring!
