Layla Hologram - Ocean Rush!

Well after playing around with this one a bit before finalizing my mani I determined a few things.

• Layla Holo's do not like Base Coats. I tried every one I had with balding and pulling on the first coat.

• Top coats dull the Holo effect. Not completely, and some are more noticeable than others. 

• For best application lightly buff your nail with a buffing block to offer a clean smooth surface. Layla offers buffing files on their display - but I am completely happy with my cheap ones from Sallys Beauty Supply :) 

I dont buff my nails often, but they tend to maintain a nice smooth surface. I did not give them an extra buff prior to these photos.

While I love the purple, this one tends to top my list so far from this collection being that it is a much bolder and brighter color. I cant wait to try the others!!
